The US Mid-Term Elections

Registration for this event opens on 12 October 2026

The 2026 elections will be the first federal election since the 2024 presidential contest ... the year Donald Trump (Rep) defeated Kamala Harris (Dem).  All 435 House of Representatives positions will be up for re-election as well as one third of the Senate.

The American voting system is complex with variations in methods of registration and eligibility to vote.

Issues to be looked at could include, though not be limited to immigration, economy, inflation, defence spending, abortion, health care, gun control.  On top of all that, the impact of these on voters may vary due to gerrymandering.

Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend the session.
