Wagga Wagga to Cambodia: How one person (& their friends) can make a difference

Registration for this event opens on 10 August 2026

Presenter: Kathy Wallace

Join local volunteer Kathy Wallace as she tells the inspiring story of HELP Cambodia, the Wagga Wagga charity she co-founded after meeting a Cambodian teacher determined to educate children living in poverty.

Through photographs and personal stories, Kathy will share how a grassroots project grew into a school, a student sponsorship program and a university scholarship fund that is transforming lives.

Discover the culture, challenges and resilience of Cambodia, and learn how ordinary people from Wagga Wagga are helping create extraordinary opportunities for children and young adults half a world away.

Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend the session.
