Registration for this event opens on 7 April 2026
Presenter: Gordon Hall
Many years ago, Bert was a WWII Lancaster navigator who flew and survived his 30 missions, including 22-night bombing raids over German occupied Europe.
Bert is giving us a casual talk about his experiences navigating in the dark whilst being pursued by the enemy who were desperate to stop them. There will also be a presentation giving an insight into Bomber Command.
Bert is now 102 years young. When you come along you can personally shake Bert's hand and thank him for his contribution of wartime service.
Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend the session.
