The presentation is a snapshot about the lost in society, who ended up in Wilks Park during the extreme weather events of August & September 2022.

It is the trials and tribulations in being able to break through their disrespect of authority, skepticism and mistrust of strangers.  Once through the shield of resistance, sporadic dialogue followed, then spending time in squalor trying to improve their living standards.

The risk to one's personal safety was an ever-present danger, the toxic mix of alcohol, drugs, and mental illness took me on an unforgettable journey!

Phil will also talk about practical ways of assisting displaced persons, including affordable transitional housing to bring them back into society.

Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend the session.
