Qigong at PCYC
Registration for this event opens on 7 April 2026
Presenter: Sandra Chapman
Qigong (pronounced Chi Gong) is an ancient Chinese medicine practice designed to support your body's ability to maintain good health.
Qigong combines intentional movement with deep breathing, resulting in a calmness that comes from a focused mind and relaxed body.
This term we will continue our focus on the Five Element Theory practice of Guigen alongside other Qigong practices.
** As this term is 11 weeks, if you may not be able to attend at least 9 of those weeks please leave the place for someone else to register.
To attend Qigong sessions at PCYC, you will need to be a member of the club. Membership for U3A is free. However, you will need to complete a manual membership form available at the front desk of the PCYC (NOT online) and will then receive a PCYC tag to be used for admission to the club.
Wear comfortable loose clothing and flat shoes.
Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend each session.
