These weekly walks will explore interesting parts of Wagga’s streets, riverside and parkland landscapes. We set out early, meeting at 6.50am for a 7am departure, generally walking for 1 to 1¼ hours and about 5 km in length. Optional coffee afterwards at a local café.
All walks are suitable for regular walkers and reasonably fit beginners confident of their walking ability. Walks are mostly on urban streets, formed gravel paths and unformed tracks. (NPA Grade 2 walk equivalent; i.e. low to undulating gradient with some loose or uneven ground). Wear sturdy walking shoes. Please bring your U3A lanyard. A hi-vis vest is helpful as some streets do not have footpaths.
