Presenter: Julie Mecham

Julie Mecham is the Greater Choice for At Home Palliative project Officer with Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network.

Julie will present an outline of what palliative care is, including:
• debunking some of the myths
associated with palliative care.
• the who, what and when’s
•. Referral pathways and expectations
•. Resources
Julie will also introduce Values and Preferences Statements and Advance Care Directives and also take some time to consider care for Carers.
