Do you remember when we stood around the piano in our lounge rooms and sang along to the most popular songs of the time ? Perhaps you enjoyed singing along to “Top 40” radio or TV music shows or enjoyed the musicals at “The Flicks”.

This weekly program is designed to revisit those family and friends’ Singalongs, without the piano but featuring the popular artists of bygone eras. As well as popular singers, the lyrics will accompany the music, so you can listen, or join in as you wish.

Singing is good for your wellbeing so join fellow U3A members each week and:  “Sing, Sing a Song.”  Don’t worry that it’s not good enough for anyone else to hear.  Just "Sing, Sing a Song”.

There are more than 150 songs from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and some memorable musicals, so you should find many of your old favourites.

This musical offering will replace "Tone Deaf Singers" for Term 1 2026.

A water bottle may be useful for some singers.

Registration is free but a gold coin is required to attend the session.
