Registration for this event opens on 19 May 2025.
Presenter: Peir Woon
In this session, I'll guide you through simple, practical steps to help you plan for a good death - because making decisions early can be one of the greatest gifts to yourself and people who care about you. We'll talk about advance care planning and why writing down your wishes matters. I'll also share gentle ways to start conversations with your family, so they feel confident about what's important to you when the time comes. We'll explore how our community can come together with compassion and support for those at the end of life, creating networks of kindness when it's needed most. Finally, I'll talk about what happens in the final stages of life - replacing fear with understanding, loss of control with dignity, isolation with love, and silence with connection.
Please bring an open heart and a non-judgemental mind, ready to engage in thoughtful and compassionate conversations.
All personal stories shared in the session should be treated with respect and confidentiality.
