Qigong at PCYC

Presenter: Sandra Chapman

Qigong (pronounced Chi Gong) is an ancient Chinese medicine practice designed to support your body's ability to maintain good health. "Qi" = energy/breath/life force; "Gong" = work. Qigong combines intentional movement with deep breathing, resulting in a calmness that comes from a focussed mind and relaxed body as we work through the movements. As we do move our body, we encourage a constant flow of Qi (energy) and blood circulation through the joints, muscles and everything in between. With regular practice Qigong will increase strength, mobility, improve circulation and calm your mind. Come and join me for 45 minutes of relaxing movement. Wear comfortable loose clothing and flat shoes.
